Gaiety and patriotic fervour marked 68th Independence Day celebrations in schools and social organizations on Friday

Children's Day Celebrations -

 

 

Celebrating the 125th birth anniversary of Pt. Jawahar Lal Nehru, the Architect of Modern India.

 

The programme began by paying homage to our beloved leader Pt. Nehru, who loved the children very much. Thus to mark his love for the children this day is celebrated as Children’s Day or ‘Baal Diwas’. The programme began with foot tapping song presented by the students underlying the importance of being happy and to follow the right path. Followed by the skit showcasing the work done in the field of education by this iconic leader. And finally the students were made aware of the various achievements done by him in economic, cultural & scientific fields.

Kannada Rajyastova

 

 

Kannada Rajyotsava is celebrated all over Karnataka specifically on 1st November but generally throughout November. It is a day when the state rejoices in the true spirit of Kannada. InGHSJBN , Rajyotsava is celebrated with great pomp and grandeur. The little ones of Primary pay their tribute to their Kannadanadu by giving speeches in praise of her and her sons i.e. Kannada poets, writers and leaders. A skit/tableau depict the rich cultural heritage of Kanadanadu. Group songs and dances, singing the glory of this great state are presented. Overall an atmosphere of enjoyment, excitement and enthusiasm prevails during the assembly when Kannada Rajyotsava is celebrated.
